At The Honesty Works, our curtains and cushions are lovingly designed, printed, and stitched by our skilled team at our small factory in Ayrshire, Scotland. Design
All of our designs begin by hand painting motifs, the old fashioned way. We use photoshop to rework colours and put the designs into repeat. Having our own in-house digital fabric printer for sampling speeds up the design process and enables us to eliminate additional wastage of fabrics and inks. The final fabric is made into beautiful products by our specialised team of local makers. We’re very passionate about creating sustainable products which limits wastage and uses local craftsmanship.

We are experts at producing beautiful, high-quality home furnishings, with over 50 years experience. Based in Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland in an area with a rich textile history, our company was originally established in the 1920’s, weaving cottons in a village famous for its textile heritage. Today we still manufacture in our factory. We believe passionately in local manufacturing and insist on the highest ethical and social standards. Our company is ISO certified so if we say it, someone checks it!
